The WASSCE for School Candidates, 2023 (Ghana Only Version) provisional results for candidates have been officially released by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).

There are 448,674 candidates total in the release, with 212,453 men and 236,221 women from 975 schools. This number indicates a 5.8% rise from the 2022 entry, indicating ongoing interest in the test.

Candidates and interested parties are encouraged to use the login credentials that heads of schools will receive to view the results on the Council’s official website, www.waecgh.org. The goal of this online accessibility is to make the process of verifying results for candidates and educational institutions more efficient.

Nonetheless, 4,878 candidates have been flagged by the Council whose results have been blocked because they did not return the learning support materials that were given to them by their schools.

It is recommended that these candidates get in touch with their respective schools right away to settle this dispute.

WAEC stresses how crucial it is to warn stakeholders about dishonest practices, especially when it comes to asking for money in exchange for improving results. The Council uses the designated results verification system to authenticate and verify results, and it assures the public that its results are secure. To do this, users can download the WAEC QR code.

The statistics for each of the four Core Subjects are presented in detail with regard to overall performance, providing valuable information about the accomplishments of the candidates. This thorough analysis offers a comprehensive perspective of the test results.

The Council congratulates the successful candidates and affirms its commitment to upholding the integrity of the examination process. WAEC continues to be committed to offering clear and trustworthy educational assessments in the area while stakeholders work through the release.
