The gifted vocalist Efya has voiced her displeasure with Parliament for holding debates regarding the possibility of outlawing sex toys in the nation.
This came after Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, the Minister of Communications and Ablekuma West Member of Parliament, criticized the Anti-LGBT Bill‘s criminalization of sex toys, claiming that it would unintentionally harm heterosexual couples who use sex toys to improve their sex lives.
The Bill’s Clause 3(c) forbids sexual relations between a woman and an inanimate object or between a man and one.
The Minister pointed out that if the house intends to make sex toys illegal, Parliament must make it plain that the Bill targets sex toy users as well as members of the LGBT community.
Mrs. Owusu-Ekuful demanded that the clause be removed right away.
To Efya, however, the entire debate over sex toys in Parliament is a prime example of a priority that has been misplaced.

The singer’s feelings are indicative of a larger worry regarding the use of parliamentary time and resources on issues that some may consider to be less important than other pressing problems facing the country.
Meanwhile, AMG Medikal has reacted to M.anifest’s claims of not knowing him in a recent interview.
Earlier on the renowned Ghanaian rapper M.anifest sparked a feud after shockingly asserting in a recent interview on Hitz FM that he is unaware of Medikal’s identity.
This occurs following rumors that a song off of Medikal’s Planning and Plotting album is a diss track directed at him, M.anifest.
He claimed there could not be a problem between him and AMG Medikal because they don’t know each other and haven’t likely crossed paths before.
After this, The ‘Omo Ada’ hitmaker responded to Ma.anifest’s claims on X (formerly Twitter). He noted that they been friends and wondered how they have quickly turned into enemies all of a sudden.
