Former President John Mahama is uncorruptible, according to Sam Nartey George, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ningo-Prampram.

George proposed that if there were any illegal issues, President Akufo-Addo‘s influence over the judiciary might have resulted in legal repercussions for Mahama.

On Thursday, December 15, 2023, the lawmaker stated in an interview with Bola Ray on Starr Chat that Mahama has no political baggage because he prioritizes the well-being of the country’s youth and sees a 24-hour economy. George underlined that the nation’s youthful population will greatly benefit from this commitment to a 24-hour economy.

“Mahama is a man dedicated to placing the youth at the forefront of his next government. He is incorruptible, and it’s time to disregard any misinformation,” Mr. Nartey asserted .

The Ningo-Prampram MP posed the following query as she considered the state of the courts and their makeup: “If Mahama was corrupt, given the developments in our judiciary, do you think he wouldn’t have faced prosecution by now?”

Mr. Nartey made a daring prediction, stating with confidence that former President Mahama would win the 2024 election.

In February of 2024, former president John Dramani Mahama declared he would name his running mate for the general elections. He restated his position, highlighting the fact that choosing his vice presidential candidate is not entirely up to him.

Meanwhile, Dr. Bawumia is Ghana’s future, according to Alexander Afenyo-Markin, the member of parliament for Effutu for the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

He asserted that the vice president is the most qualified individual to steer the nation toward prosperity.

According to him, among the candidates running for president in 2024, the NPP flagbearer ranks highest in comparison.

According to Alex Afenyo-Markin, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is completely ignored by John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC), implying that they are prepared to debate the NDC on any subject.
