Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram and a leader crusader of the Anti-gay bill, Samuel Nartey George, has responded to claims by Ghana’s LGBTQIA+ community, which he recently renamed Alphabet group.

The Alphabet group claims that some comments made by Sam George are lies and fabricated against LGBTQIA+ activists.

According to the Alphabet group, claims that they marry inanimate objects are nothing but lies.

In a response to these claims, Sam George took to his X (formerly Twitter) page to tackles the opposers of the Anti-LGBTQI+ bill before Parliament.

In a simple reply to the Alphabet group claims, the NDC MP said, “They cannot throw dust in all our eyes.”

The unconventional Ningo-Prampram MP provided evidence to back his comments that they marry inanimate objects.

Sam George assured Ghanaians that the Anti-LGBTQI+ bill will be passed by Parliament no matter what.

I am hearing some Alphabet group claims my comments that some of them marry inanimate objects is a lie and my fabrication. They cannot throw dust in all our eyes.

Now what is their next lie? We shall #PassTheBill

In a related news, One of the lawmakers supporting the Ghanaian Family Values Bill, 2021, and the champion of proper human sexual rights, Rockson-Nelson Defeamekpor, has reacted to threats made by prominent transgender person Angel Maxine to expose homosexual politicians.

On December 11, Angel Maxine announced that he had spoken with a few gay politicians and was aware of material that implicated them. He would release the names to the public in the event that Ghana’s “Anti-gay Bill” is passed.

“Are you [Angel Maxine] a woman?” In a mocking manner, Mr. Defeamekpor inquired on Dwaso Nsem, the morning program on Adom FM, monitored by InsightNewsgh.com

He stated that they are committed to passing the LGBTQ Bill as Members of Parliament in order to preserve Ghana’s cultural legacy.

“We take it in our strides that it’s part of the hazards of the job, and so we will continue to do what is in the interest of Ghanaians,” Defeamekpor stated.

He claimed that threats were common, citing past incidents during the passage of the E-levy.

Meanwhile, MPs were unable to reach a consensus in Parliament on Tuesday, regarding the proper penalty for LGBTQ+ individuals who have unnatural carnal knowledge with one another.

The Bill proposes making same-sex relationships and relationships between people and animals or objects illegal, with a maximum sentence of three to five years in prison.
