The Napoli entertainers dominated Italian football as the striker, who is based in Italy, scored 27 goals on all fronts.
The 24-year-old accomplished this, making history as the first Napoli player to top score in Italian football since Diego Maradona in 1987–88.

Asisat Oshoala of Barcelona, a fellow countrywoman of Oshimen, was also named Female Player of the Year. Six times around, she has triumphed, setting a record, after leading Barcelona to Champions League success.
To keep her title, the 29-year-old striker defeated Barbara Banda of Zambia and Thembi Kgatlana of South Africa.
