Actress Nana Ama Mcbrown, from Ghana, has revealed her thoughts on what she thinks is essential for a happy marriage.
In a recent interview, Nana Ama Mcbrown told Emelia Brobbey that she is a self-sufficient, extremely industrious woman who doesn’t rely on her husband.
She says she takes care of her basic needs, like getting her clothes and makeup done.
”As a woman, you have to be hardworking. No woman should depend on her husband for basic needs. If you are going to him to give you money for hair, pad, airtime, phone etc, he will get tired of you eventually. What you can do is tell him that you have an amount of money and beg him to top up for you,” Nana Ama Mcbrown said.
“I am a very hardworking woman and I don’t depend on my husband for everything. I make sure I make enough money to afford certain basic needs.” She added.
As previously reported, Nana Ama shared a romantic video with her husband earlier this week to refute rumors that she was having marital issues.

Meanwhile, Kuami Eugene has reacted to remarks made by dancehall/reggae artist Samini, who claimed that because he “sounds local,” Kuami Eugene has little appeal abroad.
Remember how Samini said he preferred Kidi to Kuami Eugene on TV3’s Day Show with Berla Mundi? It was because Kidi had a stronger global appeal.
Kuami Eugene, though, is not of that opinion. When questioned whether he would rebrand his craft to appeal to a wider international audience in light of Samini’s remarks, Kuami Eugene, who was on a later episode of the Day Show, said he would not do so.
He claimed that in an attempt to sound more global, he would have to give up his true Highlife sound.
