Nana Yaa Jantuah has finally broken her silence following her resignation from her position as the General Secretary of the Convention People’s Party (CPP).
Earlier on, it was reported that the General Secretary of the CPP stepped down from her role after some people petitioned the National Executive Council to remove her from office over accusations of misconduct and nonperformance.
Speaking in an interview on UTV after her resignation, Nana Yaa Jantuah disclosed that she’s not bothered if 3,000 people voted for her and 120 people want her expelled.
According to her, she always put her issues before the court of God to fight her battles for her because she is a Christian.
She revealed that she was not properly equipped with the necessary things she needed to work with following her appointment, adding the party didn’t handover any notes to her, she had to fish out everything herself.
Yaa Jantuah affirmed her believed that God will fish out the people who are behind her falling out of the CPP party and deal with them equally.

The former General Secretary of CPP said the way forward for her political career is to pray and seeks God’s divine direction on what to do next because she won’t put her political career on hold following her resignation.
Yaa Yjantuah, together with seven national executives volunteered to resign during the NEC meeting held in Kumasi on December 5.
She was elected the General Secretary of CPP in August 2020.
Meanwhile, former President John Dramani Mahama has come under fire from State Transport Company CEO Nana Akomea for his involvement in the unsuccessful galamsey fight.
He claimed that one of the reasons the government’s campaign against illicit mining has not yielded the expected results is the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress.
He claimed that while the government was combating galamsey, the NDC and Mr. Mahama incited the practice ahead of the 2020 elections by promising to release all those detained for galamsey, allowing them to resume their practice, if they were elected.
