Meanwhile, the National Lottery Authority’s (NLA) Director General, Sammi Awuku, has been unanimously elected as the NPP’s parliamentary candidate for the Akuapem North constituency.

In the parliamentary primary on December 2, he was the only contender to face opposition and received the support of delegates.

With an astounding 341 votes, Nana Ama Dokua Asiamah-Adjei, the representative for Akuapem North in parliament, won the Okaikwei North parliamentary primary.

Six candidates competed for the title of parliamentary candidate, and this victory was the result of that competition.

Among them were Prince Owusu Mensah with six votes, Akoto Alberta Afia Asomaniwa with 228 votes, and Nyarko Stephen Adipa with 108 votes.Kenneth Kwabena Agyei Kuranchie received 27 votes. The area’s former MP, Fuseini Issah, received 114 votes.

Approximately eight hundred delegates took part in the balloting.

Akosua Manu (Kozie), the deputy chief executive officer of the Ghana National Youth Authority, has been chosen as the NPP’s parliamentary candidate in the Adentan Municipality.

Against her closest rival, Kwasi Obeg Fosu, who received 638 votes, she received 814. Kwame obimpeh Winfred Nartey possessed eighteen.

They are in a position to contribute significantly to the party’s efforts and goals in their individual constituencies as the recently elected NPP parliamentary candidates in the upcoming elections.
