Diana Asamoah, a Ghanaian gospel musician, recently shared a revelation that has some music enthusiasts talking.

The gospel singer claims that she was a teacher once, despite the fact that she has always presented herself as uneducated.

During an interview with Andy Dosty on Hit FM’s Daybreak Hitz morning show, she mentioned that her father, a teacher, encouraged her to pursue a career in teaching after she finished elementary school in 1987.

“You know, in those days, they employed pupil teachers. When I completed school my father wanted me to learn how to sew clothes in Kumasi but he had not bought the sewing machine and other things I needed at that time so I thought of selling beans, soap and other items. However, he did not like the idea of me moving around people’s houses to sell. He feared that I could be raped.

He then told me that a pupil teacher at Saint Monica’s school was going for further studies at the training college so I should go and replace the teacher for the time being. When they noticed that I was doing well, they made me a ‘substitute teacher’ for every teacher that was absent,” she noted.

When asked what subjects she taught, she said that she taught geography, English language, and any other subject that the school taught.

She said that none of the students she instructed did poorly on their exams.

In recent years, Diana Asamoah has gained notoriety for her comedic qualities in addition to her gospel music.

Despite her limited command of the English language, she frequently uses English to create expressions that go viral as comedic material.

Diana Asamoah’s hit song “Ma Bo Wo Din” has a remix out right now.

Diana Asamoah is optimistic that Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will emerge as the winner of 2024 presidential elections.

Speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Show on Hitz FM, the staunch supporter of the ruling New Patriotic party (NPP) revealed that she is in the process of preparation a campaign song for Dr. Bawumia ahead of the 2024 general polls.

According to her, she strongly believes that the Vice President will definitely become president of Ghana after the 2024 polls.
