In a recent interview with Berla Mundi on TV3, Diana Asamoah claimed that young people in Ghana are currently facing difficulties because they are more interested in fast money than in a steady source of income.
She claims that after finishing school, a lot of young people become impatient and want to live the kinds of lives that others have developed over ten to twenty years, which causes needless complaints about hardship.
Ghana can succeed as a nation, according to the gospel singer, if the desire for fast money is eliminated and trust in the process is prioritized over following it.
“People finish school today and want to own a Range Rover. This is worrying and the reason why people are struggling. They do not want to follow the process and build themselves up over time.
“For now, people do not even want to be apprentices and learn the rudiments of the job. They want to make it in life without having to work. There is a lot of work in Ghana currently but because people are not cut for it, that is why they are complaining of hardship,” she further stated.
Diana Asamoah also reaffirmed her unwavering support for President Akufo-Addo, declaring that she will refrain from criticizing the leader despite the difficulties facing the nation.
She emphasized that before criticizing the government, people should first make a good impression.
