Ghanaian musician Pappy Kojo says he attended the #OccupyJulorbiHouse protest to support his friends and not because of the plight of Ghanaians.
Speaking in an interview with Cookie Tee on TV3, Pappy Kojo claimed that he’s a loyal friend and so he went there to support his friends. According to him he has swimming pool and chefs in house and so he doesn’t care what happens in the country.
The failed musician added that he’s an Italian and if things should go bad in Ghana, he will quickly move back to Italy.
“Italian embassy is like my second home when I’m in Ghana, so I just went there for my Ghanaian friends,” Pappy Kojo said.
The rapper revealed that he feels he did enough by going to the #OccupyJulorbiHouse protest to support his friends on the second day of the demo – he said during the COVID-19 pandemic, he cried out for help from Ghana to evacuate him from Italy but to avail.
Pappy Kojo came under heavy criticism after he disclosed during an interview in the heat of the #OccupyJulorbiHouse protest that he came there to chase pretty women and not to protest.
When Ghanaians slammed him for not sympathizing with the plights of the ordinary citizen, he replied back by saying he has swimming pool and chefs who and until his critics can also boost of that they can’t criticize him.

Agya Koo reflected on the once-vibrant Kumawood industry, pointing out that his name was widely associated with Ghanaian cinema, particularly among the diaspora of Ghanaians, particularly in the United States.
