The beef between “Rockstar” Kuami Eugene and Mr. Drew has been ignited once again after the former Lynx Entertainment signee claimed he can ‘bully’ the ‘Mood’ hitmaker to claim his royalties.

According to Kuami Eugene, he bullied Mr. Drew into giving him his 50% copyright shares by stating that he was in the business before Mr. Drew and could take advantage of his lack of experience.

He claimed that after mutual conversations turned fruitless, it was necessary to decide to involve lawyers.

In response to a question about why he retained attorneys for Mr. Drew’s case rather than Keche’s, he said “Because I came before him and I can bully him for my share.

With all that happened, he still called me and said we should forget what ever happened and that I should send him my details so send me my shares” he added.

Following this, Mr. Drew has taken to his X page (formerly Twitter) to call out Kuami Eugene after claiming seniority over him.

In cryptic message purported at the ‘Dollar’ crooner, Mr. Drew described Kuami as a ‘liar.’

According to him, there is nothing special being younger than someone.

He wrote, “Aside from the fact that he’s a liar , who made him think being younger than someone is a flex ? Jon boy.”

Relatedly, Kuami Eugene further stated that he has not yet received royalties for the song “No Dulling” that he co-wrote with the band Keche.

Even though there was no lawsuit, he was disappointed with the state of affairs, stating that he handled the matter more subtly out of respect for Keche, who began her career before him.

The “Rockstar” had previously disclosed that he wrote roughly 80% of Mr. Drew’s song “Case,” but the latter did not give him credit or acknowledge his contributions.

Following extensive back and forth, Kuami Eugene has revealed that Mr. Drew has paid for his contribution to the song “Case.”
