Personal Life
Zak Zinter was born on April 17, 2001, in Port St. Lucie, Florida. He is the eldest of three children born to Paul and Tiffany Zinter. His father, Paul, is a biotech executive, and his mother, Tiffany, is a homemaker.
Zinter’s family moved to North Andover, Massachusetts, when he was in eighth grade due to his father’s job. It was there that Zinter developed a passion for ice hockey. He began playing hockey at a young age and quickly rose through the ranks of the local youth hockey program.
Zinter attended Buckingham Browne & Nichols School (BB&N) in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he was a standout hockey player. He was named to the All-New England First Team and the All-USHS First Team as a senior. He was also a finalist for the Mr. Hockey Award, given to the top high school hockey player in Massachusetts.
In addition to his hockey prowess, Zinter was also an excellent student at BB&N. He was a member of the National Honor Society and was also a finalist for the National Merit Scholarship.
Siblings
Zak Zinter has one older brother, Zach. Zach is also an ice hockey player and currently plays for the Grand Rapids Griffins of the USHL.
Parents
Zak Zinter’s parents are Mark and Lisa Zinter. Mark is a former college hockey player and currently works as a youth hockey coach. Lisa is a stay-at-home mom.

Zak Zinter has a close-knit family and is very close to his parents and brother. He also has a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
