Comoros supporters made matters worse by making fun of Ghana after their nation’s upset victory over the Black Stars on Tuesday.
The Black Stars’ 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign took a blow when they lost 1-0 in Moroni.
Myziane Maolida’s outstanding goal in the first half was sufficient to cause the Comoros to upset Ghana at home.
Once more, Chris Hughton’s team struggled for extended periods of time against Comoros and was unable to play attacking football.
In addition, Comoros wins against the Black Stars for the second time in a row after defeating Ghana in the previous AFCON.
With six points, the Coelacanths have also surpassed both Ghana and Mali to take the lead in Group I of the World Cup qualifiers.
Following the match, a Comorian football page on X (formerly Twitter) used the opportunity to trolling Ghana on the microblogging platform.
The page, which uses the handle @ComorosFootball, mocked the Black Stars with a viral video featuring Ghanaian comedian Akrobeto.
Here are a few responses to the trolls on Comoros:

Meanwhile, even though Ghana lost to Comoros, their coach Chris Hughton thinks his team was superior for the entire 90 minutes.
Following a shocking loss to Comoros in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers on Tuesday, the Black Stars were degraded in Moroni.
Hughton’s team played a listless game and missed all of its first half-time opportunities to score.
Ultimately, Myziane Maolida’s goal in the first half of the game gave Comoros all three points, making them pay for their lack of initiative.
At a press conference held after the game, Hughton defended the Black Stars’ performance.
Although his team did not convert their chances, the former manager of Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United claimed that his team was superior overall.
“In my opinion, over the 90 minutes, we were the better team. Ghana were the better team. We conceded what we regard as a poor goal to concede,” Hughton said.
“We were not able to capitalize on the chances that we had, so this was not a game where Comoros won this game comfortably.”
