    An unknown man has summoned the Lands Commission before an Accra High court over stolen lands in East Legon.

    The man was captured in a viral video shared by Sika Official on X (formerly Twitter) as sighted InsightNewgh.com, very agitated and revealed that he’s in a legal battle with the Lands Commission, who stole his lands at East Legon and sold them.

    According to him, his uncle acquired 809 acres of land in 1962, thus, almost all the lands at East-Legon belong to his family and they’re coming to reclaim them.

    He pulled out some documents from a car to prove his ownership of the alleged 809 acres of lands in East Legon stolen by the Lands Commission.

    He disclosed that after he succeeds in winning the case against Lands Commissions and reclaims all the lands stolen from him and his family, he will sell them out again.

    According to him, he decided to take a judgement against the Lands Commission because the are extorting everybody in East Legon.

    Meanwhile, earlier on today, a state funeral was held for the late former First Lady Theresa Kufuor at the State House forecourt. The ceremony started at 7 a.m. with a file past, and at 9 a.m. there is a burial mass.

    Surrounded by her family, the former First Lady passed away on Sunday, October 1 at the age of 87 in her Peduase home.

    On Wednesday, November 15, 2023, Christ the King Catholic Church in Cantonments, Accra, celebrated a Requiem Mass in her honor.

    Attendees included prominent figures, legislators, New Patriotic Party members, and the late former first lady’s family and friends.

    Theresa Kufuor was the first lady of Ghana from 2001 to 2009 after being married to former president John Kufuor in 1962.

    On Saturday, November 18, the former First Lady’s last funeral rites will be held at Heroes Park in Kumasi.
