The Executive Director of Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Henry Kwabena Kokofu says the real value of the newly elected NPP flagbearer and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will come bear in the 2024 general elections.
Speaking during a panel discussion on Adekye Nsroma on UTV, Hon. Dr. Henry Kwabena Kokofu, Esq, a former MP for Bantana said, the NDC will get the shock its life in 2024 polls.
According to him, even though breaking the 8 seems difficult, nevertheless, the ruling NPP party remains focued on what they want to do and will go full out to do the impossible with Dr. Bawumia as the flagbearer.
The former Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Integrated Iron and Steel Development Corporation (GIISDEC) also asserted that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has recused Ghanaians from severe suffering and are now on a good path to recovering the economy.
Dr. Henry Kwabena Kokofu said despite all the criticisms and attacks on Dr. Bawumia’s personality and faith, God’s eyes are on the Vice President.
According to him, Ghanaians may be wondering what new will Dr. Bawumia or NPP offer, he said when campaign starts next year, Ghanaians will know it and give the Vice President and party chance.

Meanwhile, Joe Wise, the first Deputy Speaker of Parliament says he expects Dr. Bawumia is expected to win 2024 presidential polls.
Joe Wise asserted that the flagbearer of the NPP is more formidable than National Democratic Congressman (NDC) John Mahama.
The Member of Parliament for Bekwai stated that Dr. Bawumia will defeat former President Mahama in the elections in an interview with Joy News, based in Accra.
The Vice President has been singled out by the NDC and criticized for the economic problems facing Ghana on the grounds that, during his time in opposition, he presented himself as an economic messiah and made numerous insulting remarks about the NDC and its leader.
