Elordi was born on June 26, 1997, in Brisbane, Australia. He has three older sisters. He attended St. Andrew’s College in Brisbane, where he was involved in the school’s drama program. After graduating from high school, Elordi moved to Melbourne to study acting at the University of Melbourne. He left the university after a year to pursue his acting career.
During his teenage years, Elordi was a huge fan of movies and TV shows. He devoured films and devoured books about films. He also watched YouTube videos of actor’s auditions. His son, he said, had a dream of making it in Hollywood.
Elordi’s breakthrough role came in 2018 when he starred in the film “The Kissing Booth.” He reprised the role in the sequels “The Kissing Booth 2” (2020) and “The Kissing Booth 3” (2021).
