Sadly, at the age of sixty-three, Gertrude Quashigah, the National Coordinator of the Ghana School Feeding Programme (GSFP), passed away.

On Sunday, November 12, 2023, she passed away.

In addition to being a well-known figure in the hospitality industry, Mrs. Quashigah made a substantial impact on the food sector in Ghana while serving as CEO of Ambar Quality Foods Limited.

Her knowledge and commitment were well known, as evidenced by her appearances on numerous media platforms to express her opinions.

Gertrude Quashigah, who was born on February 1, 1960, in Dzelukope, Keta, in the Volta Region, had a solid educational foundation.

After completing her studies at Keta Secondary Senior High School, she decided to continue her education in the field of her choice.

The Ghana School Feeding Program made enormous progress toward guaranteeing that kids all around the country had access to wholesome meals under her direction.

The program sought to improve the general health and well-being of the students as well as school enrollment, attendance, and retention.

Mrs. Gertrude Quashigah gained respect and admiration from many for her dedication to this cause.

It will be difficult to fill the void left by her unexpected passing. Her coworkers and friends recall her as a kind and devoted professional who worked nonstop to enhance Ghana’s educational system and make countless children’s lives better.
