    Sir Bobby Charlton, a legend of Manchester United and England, had his funeral today in Tesano, Accra.

    The Nationwide Supporters Union, who have erected canopies to honor the former football player, is in charge of organizing the funeral service.

    Members of the group can be seen crying in videos that have gone viral on social media, while others are dressed in red and black to commemorate the event.

    Ghana National Supporters Union is currently holding a funeral service for England and Manchester United legend Sir Bobby Chalton in Accra.

    On October 21, 2023, Sir Bobby Charlton, who won both the World Cup and the European Cup, passed away at the age of 86.

    While some gathered at Old Trafford to grieve Charlton, whose funeral is taking place today in England, thousands of people were at Manchester Cathedral.

    Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson was among those in attendance to pay their condolences for the deceased.

    Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, Roy Keane, Steve Bruce, Paddy Crerand, and Andy Cole are among the former Red Devils players who are also in attendance.

    Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw, two current Manchester United players for England, were also present at the funeral.

    Former Reds manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer along with England manager Gareth Southgate and the Prince of Wales, who serves as the Football Association’s president.

    The great Bryan Robson of Manchester United praised Bobby Charlton as a great man in addition to being a great player.

    “Sir Bob was the first one after I signed the contract to come and say it’s a great club, enjoy yourself here.

    “It’s a sad day for the family, for Manchester United but also for football because he was a fantastic player,” Robson added.

    Meanwhile, former Black Stars striker, Raphael Dwamena suddenly died on Saturday, November 11, 2023, after collapsing on a football field in Albania.

    Dwamena suffered a cardiac arrest during a football match between Partizani and his Albanian club Egnatia Rrogozhine, and died immediately.
