The well-known politician Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, who is a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and is currently the Minister of Energy in addition to being the wise Member of Parliament for Manhyia South, or NAPO, has remarried.

The formal marriage took place quietly a few days ago, and rumors indicate that Opoku Prempeh, who had previously ended his marriage, has opened a new chapter in his life by tying the knot with a new love interest.

Images from the intimate wedding have quietly made their way onto social media, showcasing the couple in a somber and reflective setting.

Interestingly, there is a lot of conjecture surrounding the Minister right now, with some suggesting that his recent marriage is a calculated move to advance his career.

Said to be preparing to be introduced as the running mate of the distinguished NPP leader, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, NAPO is allegedly arranging this union with the intention of obtaining an official second lady position for the country in the event that the NPP wins the upcoming general elections in 2024.

Just 48 hours after Dr. Bawumia, the Vice President, was elected to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2024 election as its flagbearer, names of contenders have surfaced to join him in breaking the eight.

The details of these political maneuvers are still unknown, raising questions about the connection between intimate bonds and the vast fabric of political ambitions.

Meanwhile, a few names have surfaced in the public sphere urging Dr. Bawumia to choose Kennedy Agyapong as his running mate in order to force a “showdown” with the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

According to reports, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, the minister of communication, and Frema Osei Opare, the chief of staff, are reportedly at odds over who would be the most suitable partner for Bawumia.
