Nadine Dorries is a British politician who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Mid Bedfordshire since 2010. She is also a member of the Conservative Party and has held a number of ministerial positions. Including Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport. Dorries is a controversial figure. But she is also a popular and outspoken politician.
Early Life
Dorries was born in Liverpool in 1957. She attended a Catholic grammar school and then worked as a nurse. And a social worker. She entered politics in 2005, when she was elected as a councillor in Halton.
After the Brexit referendum, Dorries was appointed Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Mental Health, Inequalities and Suicide Prevention. She was also promoted to Minister of State for Mental Health, Inequalities and Disability in 2019.
In 2021, Dorries was also appointed Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport. She is also the first woman to hold this position.

Dorries is also married to Paul Dorries, a businessman. They have three children.
