According to Reverend Isaac Owusu-Bempah, God has lifted the embargo he had imposed on former President John Dramani Mahama in an attempt to appease him.
As a result, Mahama may now have an opportunity to reclaim power in the 2024 presidential election.
Among other things, the founder and head of Glorious Word Power Ministry International stated this in an interview with Kwame Nkrumah Tikese of Okay FM in Accra.
He says that since God can change his mind whenever he pleases, people should let go of the idea that just because he had “prophesied” that Mahama would never return to power following his election defeat in 2016, it must stay irreversible.
“So, the circumstances of years ago that caused God to abandon our father John Dramani Mahama and bar him from the presidency no longer exist.
“So, if people think the status quo still persists, changes can occur in the matters of God. Different times come with what God ordains or decrees,” when asked about the discrepancy between his position as of right now and that of 2019, Owusu-Bempah responded.
He cited biblical tales to support his argument, such as the one in which God forbade the Israelites from crossing ravines but later utilized the same animal to save Eliyah.
Owusu-Bempah revealed in the same interview that he avoids seeing President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at the Jubilee House because he perceives that Rebecca, his wife, the First Lady, disapproves of him.
He claimed he had no memory of offending the First Lady in any way, but whenever he approaches her husband, she always seems upset.
The self-described “prophecy of the nation” stated that, after careful thought, he chose to keep his distance from the President, whose prophet he has always claimed to be, in order to preserve his honor.
