Reverend Isaac Owusu-Bempah has revealed that he no longer sees President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at the Jubilee House because he perceives that his wife, Rebecca, the First Lady, is not fond of him.

The first lady always seems unhappy when he gets close to her husband, but he doesn’t remember offending her in any way, claims the founder and leader of Glorious Word Power Ministry International.

The self-described “prophecy of the nation,” Kwame Nkrumah Tikese, of Okay FM in Accra, stated in an interview that he had decided to keep his distance from the President, whom he has always considered to be his prophet, in order to preserve his honor.

“Someone I would go to and your wife will be frowning at me, why would I come? I won’t. No, I won’t. For me to come to you and your wife will see me and frown? I will never come because of your wife,” Owusu-Bempah said.

“I have not offended her at all. Me, Owusu-Bempah, I am not afraid of apologising when I am wrong. If there’s one thing, I am never shy of it is apologising,” he added.

The man of God bemoaned the amount of defamation he had endured from President Akufo-Addo‘s close associates for having chosen to assist him spiritually, a decision he said was the reason he was able to become president.

He said that while he feels uneasy approaching the President because he believes his wife is unfriendly, he does not feel the same way about Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia and his wife Samira.

One of the renowned men of God from Ghana, Owusu-Bempah is known for declaring contentious “prophecies,” some of which landed him in legal hot water. He refers to himself as the “nation’s prophet” and asserts that he has the authority to decide who will be elected president of Ghana.
