The Movement for Change led by the former Trade and Industry Minister, Mr. Alan Kyerematen is poised for victory in the upcoming 2024 presidential elections.
On Wednesday, Novermber 1, the Movement for Change took to the streets of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region to register volunteers to help in their campaign to secure victory in the upcoming 2024 general elections.
Speaking at the first volunteer orientation and registration in Kumasi, leader of the Movement, Mr. Alan Kyerematen charged the members to help put an end to the over 30 year rule of New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic Congress (NDC).
“Ghanaians say the over 32 years rule of NPP and NDC have not yielded any positive results. 32 years of every country is very significant. It took China less than 30 years to transform from one of the poorest countries to the second biggest economy in the world. I don’t need to tell you, but you should know that it is time for change,” the former Trade and Industry Minister said.
Mr. Kyerematen was optimistic of forming the next government come 2024.
“The Movement wants to move Ghana beyond the duopoly of NDC and NPP. We should all bring our minds together to rule the country,” Mr. Alan Kyerematen told the volunteers.
Communications team member of the Movement for Change, Mr. Hopeson Adorye said the first step of registering volunteers has yielded positive results.
He said over 4,000 members have been registered so far within 2 to 3 hours around Kejetia and Adum area in Kumasi. Mr. Alan is expected to begin his campaign across all the 16 regions in Ghana.
