The former Member of Parliament for the Okaikwei North constituency, Fuseini Issah, has debunked allegations by NPP presidential aspirant, Kennedy Agyapong that he was offered $800million to drop out of the race.

Earlier on, InsightNewsgh.com reported that Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong claimed he was given a huge amount of $800million to resign from the November 4 presidential elections.

Kennedy Agyapong was speaking in an interview on Kumasi-bsaed Time FM, when he refused that claims of requesting for $500milion to step down from the NPP presidential race.

According to him, he was rather offered $800million from one of the camp of the NPP presidential aspirants to drop from the November 4 polls but he rejected.

However, Mr. Fuseini Issah speaking in an interview said it is never true the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) ever offered $800million to step down from the presidential race to become a running mate.

According to him, NPP went to IMF to borrow $3B and loan has been divided into three tranches, he quizzed that where will NPP get $800m to entice Ken Agyapong to step down.

Fuseini Issah fired the MP for Assin Central for fighting the unity in the NPP party with his lies and bribery and corruption claims without any evidence.

The former MP also accused Ken Agyapong of buying pickups for his coordinators but when someone else’s does same, he calls it bribery and corruption entice delegates to vote them.

''We went to the IMF for $3B, where will we get $800M to entice him to step down.''

Relatedly, Mavis Hawa Koomson has declared that party delegates will not support Kennedy Agyapong.

He said he shouldn’t expect party members to vote for him because the Assin Central Member of Parliament has attacked them in recent years.

Hawa Koomson, the Minister for Fisheries, addressed NPP delegates in the Central Region over the weekend.

He reminded Kennedy Agyapong of his previous remarks in which he called NPP members “fools” and called the party “foolish,” emphasizing that “he doesn’t know why he’s a member.”
