Ernest Birmeh, also known as Dr. Think Twice, has staged a one-man protest to speak out against societal pressures that have burdened people, marriages, and families has been seen in footage being protected by Ghana Police Service officers.
In a video, Dr. Think Twice is seen marching by himself while carrying a cellphone and a megaphone, as well as a pair of black jeans, a white long-sleeved shirt, and a black cap.
The phrase “IGP Inspector General of Pressure” is prominently embossed on the shirt, along with what is thought to be his phone number.
A police patrol vehicle with officers inside is seen moving slowly behind him as he moves through the streets preaching his message, while some other officers walk alongside while the police siren is blaring.
Dr. Think Twice is heard preaching against expectations that young men and women marry and have children when they are not ready, have children at a certain age when they are not ready to have children, and deal with financial pressure from women on men, among other things that he believes burden society and turn it into a hellish place where many people experience depression.
He urged people to avoid such pressures that could make their lives uncomfortable and to instead live each day to the fullest.
Then he went on to warn those who have a habit of putting unwarranted pressure on others to stop doing so because they end up harming society by making many people suffer from depression and mental health problems.
