Liz Cheney is an American attorney and politician who served as the U.S. Representative for Wyoming’s at-large congressional district from 2017 to 2023. She is the eldest daughter of former vice president Dick Cheney and former Second Lady Lynne Cheney.
Cheney was born in Madison, Wisconsin, on July 28, 1966. She graduated from Colorado College in 1988 and the University of Chicago Law School in 1996. She also worked as a lawyer in the private sector before entering politics.
