The court hearing between Black Sherif and Cruise People Limited, a Ghanaian art management company, has been postponed until November 16, 2023.

Black Sherif’s road manager Frederick Osei, alias Aubrey, the plaintiff Daniel Vanderpuye, who is the Chief Executive Officer of Cruise People Limited, and their respective attorneys were all present at the Adenta court.

Her Ladyship Mariama Sammo, however, has mandated that the Plaintiff and Defendant, as well as their attorneys, must prepare and submit their legal arguments by November 2, 2023.

The defendant, Black Sherif, had submitted a motion claiming that the Ghanaian court in Adenta lacked jurisdiction to hear the case. He asserted that any legal proceedings must take place in the United Kingdom in accordance with the terms of the contract for his performance.

However, Cruise People Limited has submitted an affidavit opposing this motion via its legal counsel. They contend that because both parties are Ghanaians and carry out their professional activities there, the Adenta High Court does indeed have the authority to hear and decide the case.

Black Sherif is accused of breaking an agreement, which led to the cancellation of the Afro Cruise Jam concert that was set to take place in August 2023. In order to make up for the losses incurred, Cruise People Limited is asking for $100,000 in damages.

Meanwhile, in other news, Adina Thembi revealed that after 16 fibroids were discovered inside of her, she experienced a life-threatening medical situation.

The Ghanaian singer claims that her cousin, a nurse, was the one who initially suspected she had fibroid disease. She says an initial scan found eight fibroids, but later information contradicted that.

Adina explains that she used the gym to get rid of a belly bulge that she had noticed, but despite going frequently, she noticed no improvement.
