The police have detained a suspect named Yandeh Joof, which is a significant development in the case of the tragic death of Bennet Adomah Agyekum, the owner of the renowned restaurant Kikibees.

It is assumed that Joof was close to the late Mr. Agyekum, possibly even dating him.

When Mr. Agyekum was discovered on Sunday, October 8 at a home in Madina, lying in a pool of blood, the circumstances surrounding his death came to light.

He was immediately taken to a hospital for immediate care. Sadly, when he got to the hospital, he was already dead.

An autopsy will be performed in order to shed more light on the incident, and the deceased’s body has been preserved by being placed in the morgue of the Police Hospital.

In parallel, a thorough investigation into the incident is being conducted, and Joof is assisting the authorities.

Just hours before the tragic incident, Mr. Agyekum’s final social media post showed him dancing joyfully to a Stonebwoy song.

His caption, “Just imagine saying if God na Man by now them don order execution order for onna! Jehovah bu Eze [sic],” has given the case a sinister new layer of mystery.

The sudden death of Mr. Agyekum shocked the neighborhood, and the police are committed to aggressively pursuing the investigation to shed light on and bring justice to this tragic incident.

Meanwhile, John Allister, a 22-year-old domestic helper, was given a 20-year prison term for killing his employer at Sokoban-Apaaso by a Kumasi Circuit Court.

John Allister was sentenced to 20 years in prison on each of the two counts of theft, but the terms of his sentence will run concurrently.

The offender admitted guilt to stealing 167,000 Ghana cedis from the proprietor of the hotel where he was employed as a receptionist.

ix days after starting work for Stella Osei, also known as Princess Afua Ahenkan, 35, John Allister made headlines last month for allegedly stabbing to death his employer.
