The Lagos State Police Command has listed Owodunni Ibrahim, aka Primeboy, as wanted after he ignored a police invitation that was sent to him after the investigation into the circumstances leading to the death of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba (also known as Mohbad) began.

On Wednesday, SP Benjamin Hundeyin (ANIPR, MIPRA), the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), issued a notice declaring Primeboy as wanted by the Nigeria Police Force.

The notice also includes CP Idowu Owohunwa, the state’s commissioner of police, announcing a reward of N1 million for anyone with information that could result in Primeboy’s arrest.

“Ibrahim is approximately 1.64 m tall, male, dark-complexioned with tribal marks and Yoruba by tribe. His last known address is 3rd Power, Oke Eletu, Ikorodu.

“If seen, contact the nearest police station or call 0803 688 5727. The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Idowu Owohunwa, hereby offers a handsome reward of N1,000,000 (One Million Naira Only) to anyone with useful information leading to his arrest,” the release said.

Relatedly, Naira Marley, the stage name of Nigerian singer Afeez Fashola, has relocated to Lagos in order to actively assist law enforcement in the investigation into the tragic death of Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as MohBad.

He expressed on Twitter his dedication to supporting the law enforcement and emphasized the significance of his involvement in pursuing justice for Imole, or MohBad, as he was affectionately known.

He stated, “I’d like to share that I’ve just arrived back in Lagos, Nigeria to assist the authorities with the ongoing investigation. It’s important I do my part for Imole. I’ll be meeting with the police with hopes for the truth to be uncovered and for justice to prevail.”

In a viral video sighted on Twitter, the video captures the moment Naira Marley was being whisked away by the police as soon as he arrived in Nigerian at the airport. He was seen been led by some policemen to enter a vehicle at the airport on his return.
