    Honorable Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, a maverick politician and potential NPP flagbearer, is presently in a state of mourning, according to sad news that our news desk has just received.

    It is official that Hon. Kennedy Agyapong’s stepfather is no longer with us.

    Oman FM delivered the heartbreaking news. At the 37 Military Hospital, the late stepfather of Hon. Kennedy Agyapong passed away peacefully at age 91.

    This unfortunate news comes as the country is already grieving the tragic deaths of two well-known individuals.

    He passed away earlier today. Kennedy Agyapong, a presidential candidate for the NPP and a firebrand, has reportedly received the sad news.

    The recent deaths of veteran politician and former Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram Enoch Teye Mensah (ET), aged 77, and Mrs. Theresah Kuffour, who served as the former First Lady of the Fourth Republic and was 87 years old, add to the gloomy mood.

    E.T Mensah, a former council member and member of parliament died at the age of 77.

    He had been unwell for some time and, according to reports, passed away in South Africa.

    Mr. Mensah was well-known in Ghanaian politics and held the positions of Minister of Education and Member of Parliament for the Ningo-Prampram constituency for more than 20 years.

    Meanwhile, Mrs. Theresa Kufuor, the former First Lady of Ghana, passed away on Sunday at the age of 87 in her home in Peduase on the Aburi Mountain.

    The former First Lady, who was married to former President J.A. Kufuor from 2001 to 2009, was a pillar of support for him, the Presidency said in an official statement issued on Monday in Accra.
