Veteran Ghanaian Gospel musician, Evangelist Diana Asamoah has hit back at incumbent President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo‘s critics.
President Nana Akufo-Addo has come under heavy criticism from Ghanaians after the country witnessed one of its worst economic crisis.
Recently, some Ghanaians including some celebrities organized a 3-days protest dubbed #OccupyJulorbiHouse demo to draw the attention of government to economic hardships, mismanagement, unemployment, corruption and other issues the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) led by President Akufo-Addo has failed to address.
The group is steadfast in their determination to carry out the protest despite the arrests and alleged intimidation by the police.
Appearing as one of the guests on United Showbiz on UTV last weekend, Evangelist Diana Asamoah blasted MC Yeboah for criticizing President Akufo-Addo.
Diana Asamoah, a staunch supporter who refers to President Akufo-Addo as her father, defended the NPP government led by Nana Addo.
According to her, the President has done so well for Ghanaians by introducing the Free SHS policy which has benefited a lot of parents and students.
She urged Ghanaians to stop chastising Nana Akufo-Addo and start showing gratitude to him.

In a related news, the NPP’s letter to UTV has received harsh criticism from Kwame A-Plus, who deems it to be without foundation.
He has expressed serious concerns about the letter’s appropriateness and content, implying that it represents an effort to curtail press freedom and exert control over editorial viewpoints and media content.
The party’s attempt to undermine the constitutional clause pertaining to media independence has angered A-Plus, who has stated, “This letter is appalling because we have received threatening calls from people plotting to disrupt the show. NPP members should refrain from such actions and should not write such letters again. This is an absurd letter.”
He asserted further by saying, “No one in this country can dictate what we do on this show, especially when the president is a seasoned lawyer and someone who believes in the rule of law.”
