Award-winning gospel musician Moses OK from Ghana recently opened up about his turbulent past in an interview with Okay FM, revealing that he had been involved in petty theft as a young man.

Moses OK, who is well-known for his stirring gospel music and alluring stage presence, revealed that after coming into contact with Christ, his life drastically changed for the better and that he left behind a life of crime.

He openly discussed his past, confessing that he had once stolen money from parked cars as a young man in order to supplement the money he had been given.

His early years, when he was living with his grandmother, marked the beginning of his descent into theft. Moses OK was separated from his parents, who lived elsewhere, and lived off of a weekly allowance from them.

But the lure of easy money sent him down a perilous road. When he saw that people had left their money in parked cars, he would target those particular vehicles.

His life took an unexpected turn after one tragic incident. He had been given the task of purchasing food for some of his father’s employees.

He slyly skipped making the payment to the seller, seizing the chance to keep the cash for himself. He had no idea that his mother was aware of his transgressions. When she found the money, she confronted him and demanded that he give it back right away.

He claimed that this experience turned out to be a turning point in his life. He had to think twice about what he had done because of the weight of his guilt and his mother’s stern warning.

He then made the decision to change his life and follow Jesus Christ‘s teachings. His newly discovered faith served as a beacon for him, directing him away from a life of crime and into the gospel music industry.
