New Patriotic Party  Flagbearer aspirant Kennedy Agyapong has outlined one of the policies he intends to implement to make the nation move forward.

Indiscipline is one of the cankers hindering the development and progress of Ghana. In most of Kennedy Agyapong’s interview he had mentioned that he will deal with indiscipline in the country.

In his bid to curb this problem, the Member of Parliament for Assin Central plans to implement mandatory six months of military training for all National Service personnel if elected president in 2024, with the aim of restoring discipline.

In other news, Paul Adom-Otchere, known for his controversial views, has expressed his belief that the speech delivered by Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen on Monday, September 25, 2023, should have undergone proper review.

During his program, “Good Evening Ghana,” on Metro TV, Adom-Otchere raised questions regarding the thoroughness of the speech’s scrutiny before its presentation.

In his editorial piece, which aired on the program yesterday, Adom-Otchere suggested that a lack of meticulous proofreading left the politician vulnerable to ridicule from his former party members.

One of the central points of contention in the speech was Alan Kyeremanten’s claim of leading the Young Executive Forum to fund the headquarters of the New Patriotic Party.

However, Hackman Owusu-Agyemang, the party historian and Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Council of Elders, vehemently disputed this assertion.

Adom Otchere’s editorial stressed the importance of fact-checking and suggested that Alan Kyerematen and his team should seek confirmation from influential figures within the party, “If I am writing a speech and I am going to say the Young Executive Forum did it, who told me? They say Kwabena Kissi, How do you know that, do you have a document for it?

Following his resignation from the party, Alan Kyerematen, a former presidential candidate, has announced his plan to run as an independent candidate in the 2024 elections.
