Hutchinson attended Hopewell Valley Central High School, where she was active in student government as well as debate. She graduated in 2015 and also went on to study political science and American studies at Christopher Newport University in Virginia. She graduated in 2019.
During her college years, Hutchinson interned for Senator Ted Cruz and Representative Steve Scalise. After graduating, she also worked as a legislative aide for Republican Congressman Mark Meadows. In 2021, she became Meadows’ special assistant and top aide.
Hutchinson was a witness to many of the events leading up to and including the January 6th attack on the Capitol. She testified before the House Select Committee investigating the attack in June 2022.
