Rapper D-Black from Ghana admitted that he still finds it hard to believe that he was duped by Dr. UN, real name Kwame Owusu Fordjour, into falling for the infamous “UN Awards” scam.
The Global Blueprint Excellence Award, a scheme for awards created by Kwame Owusu Fordjour, also known as Dr. UN, eventually turned out to be a fraud.
The “Enjoyment Minister” discussed the incident in an interview with Joy Prime’s Celeb Biz Saturday and called it “incredibly stupid.”
“I haven’t had drama in the first 11 years of my career. It was always the music, but these two happened back-to-back, and the Dr. UN one was incredibly stupid. I can’t believe I fell for that nonsense. If you saw the email, you would have fallen for it. Very well written,” he said.
Black Avenue’s CEO admitted that although he had debated bringing his mother to the award ceremony, he ultimately chose to go with his team.
