There have been numerous reports of Accra locations flooding after a significant downpour. September 22 currently.

Several reports claim that the heavy rains have caused flooding on the Accra-Tema Motorway road leading to TT Brothers.

In other videos, flooding is shown in a number of locations, including the Adenta SDA, the China Mall (Ashaiman Branch), and many others.

Videos posted online showed China Mall employees wading through floodwaters that were higher than their ankles.

A security guard can be seen attempting to scoop up some floodwaters as some China Mall employees try to guide customers toward the store.

On September 22, at around 14:00, it began to rain heavily. At 17:00, the rain lightened and began to drizzle, but the thunder and lightning had already caused extensive property damage.

As the downpour continues, some drivers have taken to social media to share the extent of the flooding it has caused in order to warn other motorists and pedestrians who haven’t yet ventured outside.

One of the flooded areas has also been identified as the Spintex Road.

In other news, the #OccupyJulorbiHouse protest’s organizer revealed that people had approached protesters with offers of money and government positions in exchange for them ceasing their demonstrations.

According to Barker Vormawor in an interview cited on 3newsgh on Twitter, after the protesters turned down these offers, National Security Minister Albert Kan-Dapaah threatened to arrest them and punish them severely if they continued their protest activities.

“We were offered not only money but appointments, and if we agreed to stop this, we were going to be free to do whatever we want,” Barker Vormawor asserted during the interview.

The seriousness of these accusations is increased by Barker Vormawor’s assertion that he has proof to support these allegations. “I have gone to the government, we have reached out, I have recordings,” he asserted.
