New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential hopeful, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has charged delegates not to be swayed by money and intimidation ahead of the November 4 election.
He claimed that the top spot on the November primary ballot proves that God has appointed him to lead the dominant party into the general elections of 2024.
On September 13, 2023, he told the media that he believed that being drawn first on the ballot for the second time in a row was a clear sign from God that he should be given the responsibility of leading.
He said that anyone who believes in biblical wisdom can see this divine message.
“It is clear that I am the person God has chosen to lead the NPP. If you believe in the Bible… because everywhere I go, Kennedy Agyapong is number one. It is a clear indication that I should be given a chance to lead this country.”
Mr. Kennedy Agyapong thinks that these events provide indisputable evidence of his presumptive presidential destiny.
“The signs are clearly on the wall that if you vote for Kennedy Agyapong, he will definitely lead this country and break the eight,” Kennedy Agyapong said.
According to him, he expects to win because he’s a grassroots man who has been fighting for the ordinary Ghanaian since he joined politics.
The NPP presidential aspirant said no matter the inducement and intimidation, he believes the delegates will use their conscience to vote for him because they are generational thinkers.
“I have confidence in the delegates no matter the amount they give them, they have the brains to choose the best candidate, a man who understands the plight of the polling stations executives or the ordinary people in this country,” he said.
