Akrobeto, an actor and media personality from Kumawood who goes by Akwasi Boadi in private, has talked about his recent run-in with Jordan Ayew.
In the most recent episode of his Real News program on UTV, Akrobeto refuted claims that Jordan had treated him disrespectfully.
On Thursday, September 7, at the Baba Yara Stadium, the Black Stars will play host to the Central African Republic’s Wild Beasts in their final AFCON 2023 qualifying match.
Akrobeto paid the team a visit during a practice at the Baba Yara Stadium prior to the game.
The Black Stars players, including Richard Ofori, Mohammed Kudus, Dede Ayew, and Baba Rahman of West Ham United, were enthused by a video of Akrobeto’s visit.
Kudus and other celebrities stood to greet Akrobeto as a sign of respect for the legendary actor, with Dede Ayew giving him a bear hug.
But unlike many of his coworkers, Akrobeto’s attendance at the training session didn’t seem to bother Jordan Ayew.
The Crystal Palace forward appeared more preoccupied with his phone while seated on the bench than with the on-field actor. His actions sparked a lot of online criticism.
Jordan, however, must stop being criticized, according to the legendary actor, because he behaved perfectly during their encounter.
Speaking in a video posted to UTV’s Twitter (X) page sighted by InisghtNewsgh.com, Akrobeto claimed that Jordan was the first person he had met and interacted with, which explained the player’s actions.
He claimed that because Jordan wasn’t practicing with the rest of the team, he was the first person he met at the Black Stars camp.
