Founder of Fountain Gate Chapel and President Eastwood Anaba Ministries (EAM), Re. Eastwood Anaba has given a blow-to-blow account of how former president, Mr. John Dramani Mahama assisted him to save a dying pastor.
Rev. Eastwood Anaba was preaching at the annual conference ‘Love Revolution’ in the Upper East Region narrated the full story that stirred the emotions of the audience.
According to him, he was Lagos-Nigeria when he received a stress call from founder and leader of International Central Gospel Church, Pastor Mensah Otabil from Accra one of his pastors in the Upper West Region has serious cut in the head injury and they need to transfer him via an air-ambulance immediately to Accra to save his life.
Pastor Eastwood said he quickly called former president and NDC flagbearer, Mr. John Mahama and explained the situation to him.
Mahama sent the popular man of God’s number to the Air Force Commander, who contacted him within few minutes and assured him the air-ambulance will released to carry the pastor as soon as possible after he had spoken to the former president via phone call.
He continued the pastor was transported to Accra the next day and his life was saved and he’s currently strong and doing his work as a man of God.

Meanwhile, in connection with an ongoing investigation into an audio recording that was leaked discussing the removal of the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, the Ghana Police Service has interdicted former Director General of the Technical Department, COP George Alex Mensah.

A plot to overthrow IGP Dampare is allegedly being discussed by COP George Alex Mensah, Superintendent George Asare, and former Northern Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Daniel Bugri Naabu, according to a recorded conversation.
