Mr. Drew, the stage name of Ghanaian music and dance sensation Andrew Nii Commey Otoo, has explained his decision to go bald.
On Tuesday, September 5, 2023, the “Case” hitmaker revealed that he intentionally removes all of the hair from his head because his hairline is receding and that he does not like his “V shape” in an interview with media figures Cookie Tee and Naa Ashokor for TV3’s Newday show.
”So my hairline is receding and I don’t like the V shape, so I just shaved everything. If you are not nice you cannot rock a bald head,” he stated.

Mr. Drew is well known for having an oval, clean-shaven head that looks stunning when paired with eyeglasses. Although most Ghanaians are unaware of it, he had some hair before clean-shaving, also known as “sakora” or “santo,” because that haircut occurred before his shooting to the spotlight.
In Ghana right now, Mr. Drew is one of the best and most popular musicians. He is an Afrobeats musician who shot to fame when his song “Let me know” went viral.
Mr. Drew has given us more catchy songs, including “This Year,” in which he collaborated with Ghanaian rapper and businessman Medikal, “Shuperu,” with Kidi, a Lynx Entertainment signee, “Pains,” and “Later,” with reggae-dancehall performer Kelvyn Boy, among others.
In other news, the wife of multiple award-winning ace rap artist Sarkodie and the First Lady of Sarkcess Music, Tracy Owusu Addo, also known as Tracy Sarkcess, has sparked reactions online with new images.
