Many people are in awe of how employees of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) and other passengers managed to escape a terrifying robbery attack while riding in a long bus on the highway near Babato Kuma.

On Saturday, September 2, 2023, a situation that the GBC described as a “near-death experience” occurred, leaving the bus’s driver and passengers in a agitated state as they attempted to flee the threat.

“A near-death experience; GTV’s Maltiti Sayida Sadick escapes robbery on the highway, Around Babato kuma, near Kintampo, on Saturday,” GBC published a caption for the video that captured a brief portion of the incident on its official Twitter (X) page as sighted by InsighNewsgh.com.

The incident, which left terrified passengers screaming and pleading with the driver to keep going, was captured on camera as Maltiti Sayida Sadick and other passengers were riding a bus when it collided with some highway armed robbers.

The footage shows the visibly upset passengers standing up and intently peering through the bus’s glass windows, not knowing how the impending danger would play out.

Screams from some people claiming that the bandits had started shooting at them could be heard. Additionally, one of the passengers is heard telling his fellow passengers to calm down because there was a police officer on the bus.

Although there were numerous gunshots that appeared to be directed at the moving bus, thankfully no injuries or fatalities have been reported.
