While United are aware of adhering to Financial Fair Play regulations, Fiorentina would have preferred a permanent deal.
Matt Hargreaves, United’s director of football negotiations, took a plane to Italy to complete the transaction.
Amrabat’s desire to join United is obvious, and the 27-year-old hasn’t been working out with the Fiorentina first team group while his future was up in the air.
Due to rumors regarding his future, Amrabat was left off of Fiorentina’s roster for the second leg of their Europa Conference League play-off match against Rapid Vienna on Thursday.
In other news, Tottenham Spurs left-back, Sergio Reguilón completed his medical late last night and signed his contract this morning with Manchester United.
The loan deal will include a clause to break loan deal in January, Man United will pay full salary of the Spanish left-back.
The Red Devils moved to sign Sergio Reguilón after deal for Marc Cucurella fell off with Chelsea following the player’s involvement in the the Blues Carabao Cup last Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Erik ten Hag has revealed Reguilón will be available for selection when the Red Devils take on Arsenal on Sunday in the Super Sunday Premier League.
Man United had to replace injured Luke Shaw and Malacia. In their absence Diogo Dalot has been playing the left side of defence but with the upcoming fixture the Red Devils needed to find another left-back to fill that space.
