General Secretary of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Nana Yaa Jantuah has added her two cents to the upcoming New Patriotic Party (NPP) special delegates conference to choose five candidates out of ten to contest the November 4, 2023 presidential primary.
During a panel discussion on Adekye Nsroma on UTV, Nana Yaa Jantuah opined that there shouldn’t be a contest within the NPP because their history clearly shows that the Former Trade Minister, Mr. Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten is the next in line to lead them in 2024 elections.
According to her, the Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia isn’t a long-serving member in the party and in addition he has failed as Vice President to help President Nana Akufo-Addo stir the affairs of the country.
Nana Yaa Jantuah said apart from Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku, none of the presidential aspirant contesting for the NPP flagbearership position is justifiable.
She noted Dr. Bawumia has nothing good to offer Ghanaians since he has contributed to the country going into a severe economic crisis.
