    United Showbiz which is aired on UTV every Saturday night is on the most watched entertainment show in Ghana. However, the show has always thrown negative comments on social media following each episode in recent times.

    During each session, pundits share their opinion on trending news which happened during the week.

    Just last week Saturday, August 19, 2023, Ghanaian singer Efya and her drug tag became a center of discussion as the pundits shared their opinion on the topic.

    In Vida Adutwumwaa Boateng’s submission, she said Efya should take more than just a prayerful stance and publicly declare her innocence in this case to dispel the drug use allegations against her.

    Drug use has consistently been connected to Efya over the years, which has hurt her reputation. Efya’s mother, Nanahemaa Adwoa Awindor, vehemently refuted all claims that her daughter used drugs in a recent interview.

    Mrs. Adutwumwaa expressed her worry that these drug use allegations have harmed the credibility and reputation of Efya’s brand during an interview on UTV Showbiz Night.

    She suggested that it would be best for Efya to deal with this problem more directly by pursuing legal action against those who are circulating these rumors.

    Efya has been tagged with drug use for a long time and it is unhealthy for her brand, she has not come out to debunk these speculations by suing anyone which has left these comments still lingering in the minds of people,” Mrs. Adutwumwaa commented.

    “I will advise that the support from her mother should go beyond prayers and tackle the issue from the core by dragging persons who speculate the false tags to court to disbar her brand from the dents caused.”

    Ghanaian actress, Lydia Forson has angrily reacted to Mrs. Vida Adutwumwaa’s advice to Efya and her mother over her drug tag.

    According to Lydia Forson, the pundits who sit on United Showbiz to discuss other celebrities issues are carelessness and lack emotional intelligence.

    Check her tweet below;

    The vim you people have to sit and have such strong opinions over people’s lives is beyond me.

    The carelessness, lack of emotional intelligence and the crass with which you speak on people says a lot more about you, than them.

    Shame on you. https://t.co/Fvor0613tE
