The introduction of CODA mini cars a new initiative to replace motor riders or Okada riders as they are most popularly known, bikes came as a sign of relief to them.
The CODA mini cars purchased by the NPP government to help the youth in the country has left and are currently devastating due to rusting.
The launch of the CODA Drive, an initiative by the Coastal Development Authority to replace motorbikes with cost-effective cars while keeping the riders safe on the roads currently has 200 cars available to be distributed.
The first group recipients will pay GH¢25,000 for the cars and are expected to pay up to GH¢41 each day to settle the fee.
Prince Henry, a ranking member of the NDC communications team revealed the NPP government hurried and squandered GH¢85 million on the mini-cars however they left them to rot away.
He said the cars are rusting.

Meanwhile, before the 2020 polls, Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia revealed that the NPP government will never permit Okada operations in the country.
According to him, the decision is a very difficult one to take but it is in the best interest of Ghana.
Dr. Bawumia said the government plans to create a credit society that can help the owners purchase cars because the okada business is too risky.
Speaking at the joint launch of a strategic collaboration of Volkswagon & Blackivy to launch Volkswagon’s newly assembled cars in Ghana, Dr. Bawumia stated that the NPP government will stick to its decision to provide a better alternative for the Okada riders.
In a related news, According to Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, a candidate for the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer position, he is the only one of the ten candidates with comprehensive plans to improve everyone’s quality of life in Ghana.
He emphasized that his innovative plans, along with his intention to launch businesses for the NPP, are pragmatically designed to usher in the long-awaited positive change for Ghanaians.
