Michy, a musician and social media influencer from Ghana, believes that her breakup with her ex-fiance Shatta Wale was part of God’s plan.
The TV personality shared her viewpoint on the Showbiz A to Z program with host Kwame Dadzie on Accra’s Joy FM on August 12, 2023.
In an interview Michy gave to Delay, she stated that it would be difficult for her to recreate her relationship with Reggae/Dancehall star Shatta Wale with any other man.
This was brought up by Dadzie. She claimed that Wale was more like a brother to them and they were more like best friends.
She explained that she “always told him we’re better of best friends, we’re better of business partners than dating and God has found a way, no matter how difficult that way came through or by, to bring us back to what we’re supposed to be”.
Michy added that she recalls saying in the Delay interview, “if I were a man, I’d like to dress and look like” Wale, with whom she has a son.
It demonstrates her affection for her ex-boyfriend, Dadzie remarked.
“Fond is the word,” Michy exclaimed ecstatically, expressing her continued affection for Shatta Wale. She also acknowledged how challenging it would be to recreate the unique bond they had.
When she was 17 years old, Michy, formerly Shatta Michy, began dating Shatta Wale. She will turn 18 in “a few months.”
Meanwhile, prisons are institutions for lawbreakers, but Shatta Wale considers them his home.
In October 2021, the Ghanaian dancehall musician was detained by police after being accused of spreading untrue information.
In a recent interview with TV3, Shatta Wale discussed his time spent in jail, saying that he didn’t feel particularly humbled by the experience because he felt at home there.
The Ghanaian musician claimed that some inmates were glad to see him incarcerated. The ex-convict continues by saying that while he was incarcerated at the Ankaful Medium Prison in the Central Region, he was even given respect and dignity.
