Mariah Carey was honored with a star on the Walk of Fame in 2015 for her work in the music business. She was caught lip syncing during a bad performance at a New Year’s Eve performance in 2017, and her star was vandalized a week later.

John Lennon, a well-known member of the Beatles, had his star vandalized by what appeared to be fans who scrawled messages in various ink colors. The Hollywood Walk of Fame’s Ana Martinez was notified of the incident, and shortly after that, the star’s original appearance was returned.

Donald Trump
Since it was given to him in 2007, Donald Trump‘s star on the Walk of Fame has been vandalized numerous times. The most recent incident was documented in 2017, when James Otis hacked it to pieces with a pickaxe and removed the brass medallion from the center.
Otis was given a three-year probationary period as well as 20 days of community service with the California Department of Transportation. He was also told to pay $700 to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and $3,700 to the Hollywood Historic Trust.

In 2017, 16 years after receiving one, it was discovered that Bob Marley‘s star had been harmed. There were numerous dents in the star that gave the impression that it had been struck with a sledgehammer. Two days later, the star was fixed for $3,000 by the Hollywood Historic Trust.

Hugh Hefner, publisher of “Playboy,” passed away on September 27, 2017, and a blue crayon crown was added above his name on the Walk of Fame the following day. A Walk of Fame spokesperson said that the cost of the star’s repair would be the responsibility of the offender, who has yet to be identified.

When the embryos were frozen in 2013, the ex-couple agreed that neither could use the embryonic material to conceive a child without the other’s approval.
