According to Prince Henry, a member of the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) communications team, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is the “most dishonest president in Ghanaian history.”

Prince Henry’s remarks follow the President’s declaration that the government will not be able to finish the Saglemi Housing project that was started by the previous John Mahama administration.

In an effort to finish the Saglemi Housing Project, Nana Addo stated that the government would take on additional debt.

He claims that because of its fatigue and limitations, the government is unable to commit any more resources to the Saglemi project.

In the Ningo Prampram district of the Greater Accra Region, Prampram is home to the Saglemi Housing Project, a public housing development.

To help Ghana’s housing shortage, the NDC, led by John Mahama, launched the project in 2012.

The project was put on hold after the government admitted that political corruption and poor planning were to blame for the delay in completion.

According to Nana Addo, the Saglemi project was referred to the Ghana Police Service’s Criminal Investigations Division for investigation, which led to criminal court proceedings.

Speaking at the Accra sod-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, for the start of construction on an estimated 8,000 affordable housing units at Pokuase, “We are aware of the delays and setbacks encountered during the execution of this project.”

Prince Henry said in a Twitter post; “Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is the most dishonest president in the history of Ghana.”

Meanwhile, Any NPP flagbearer candidate who can bring the party together and win the 2024 presidential election for the party will have the support of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the president of Ghana.

He claims that in order to win the general election in 2024, the party delegates must forge an effective, united front that is both strong and formidable.

He stated on Tweet that he would back a presidential candidate who could defeat John Mahama, the NDC’s (perennial NDC presidential candidate), for the third time in a row.
