Talented Ghanaian rapper, Lasmid has finally spoken following his awful performance at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) night which took place a few months ago.
Lasmid was subjected to social media criticisms his stage performances did not live up to expectations.
Fans’ reactions to Lasmid, who won Best Hip-Life Song of the Year for his hit song “Friday Night,” were mixed. Some were unimpressed, while others blamed the production team for their dissatisfaction.
Months after his abysmal VGMA performance, Lasmid responded during an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM.
According to him, he and his team really rehearsed tirelessly and they had high expectation to impress his fans and music lovers that night but things turned out differently.
He noted that during their rehearsals, everything they practiced was beautiful but after his poor performance on stage, he became disappointed at himself after the event.

Well, be reminded Lasmid wasn’t the only artiste who flopped that night, sensational songstress, Gyakie also performed poorly and below expectation during the VGMA awards night.
Gyakie’s performance left fans clearly unimpressed; the SCAR hitmaker was unable to captivate them with her vocals and vigor.
These performances sparked a flurry of reactions on social media, with some fans criticizing them, others arguing that live performances are frequently imperfect and that artists should be applauded for taking the stage, and still others believing that the performances fell short of expectations.
